Ryan Hibbert is accomplished and creative CEO who founded Riot Hospitality Group (RHG), one of the country's premier hospitality management companies. RHG is known for managing and co-creating unique restaurant, nightlife, hospitality and beverage brands: Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row, El Hefe, Farm & Craft, Hand Cut Chophouse, Riot House, Cake Nightclub and Shiv Steak House. Additionally, it manages The District, Maya Day and Nightclub, and Clubhouse at Maya. Currently, RHG oversees numerous locations across the U.S.
Hibbert built RHG from the ground up by drawing from his business background and extensive work experience inside the hospitality business for more than 20 years. He learned to create a successful business platform early in life by shadowing his father, a real estate developer, and CPA. His interest in the hospitality industry began in high school, working in restaurants, and continued throughout his college years at the University of Arizona. After earning a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a triple minor in Math, Physics, and Chemistry, Hibbert started working in biotech industry but continued to stay active in hospitality. As a young professional, he quickly realized the hospitality industry had a chance to evolve utilizing his personal understanding of hospitality, business background, and corporate experience. He then created a hybrid business model for restaurants/bars that has since become popular across the country. The innovation of Riot Hospitality using the idea of "culture based on interactive service" has transformed RHG into a hundred-million-dollar annual revenue business.
Hibbert is a third-generation Arizonan committed to philanthropic endeavors like Folds of Honor, Heal the Hero, and the Make a Wish Foundation, among many others. Because giving back and RHG are both a large part of his identity, Hibbert created the Riot Gives Back Foundation that supports first responders, military/veterans and their families, and the compassionate care for children. He dedicates his time by serving as a board member of the Arizona Restaurant Association, Experience Scottsdale Association, Chapter Member of YPO, a Phoenix Business Journal's Valley Leader, a Board Member and Special Deputy to Maricopa County Sheriff's Youth Assistance Foundation, and he is also an active alumna of his alma mater.
